Check an address before you send

Paste an address and this page tells you which network it belongs to, whether its checksum holds, and what the format cannot tell you. Nothing is sent anywhere — there is no request in the page, and you can read the script yourself.

Compare two addresses

A valid checksum proves nothing was mistyped. It does not prove the address is the one you meant — a planted lookalike is perfectly valid. Paste what you copied and what you expected; the differing characters are marked.

What this can and cannot tell you

It catches a typoCHECKSUM

Bitcoin, Tron, XRP, Cardano and mixed-case Ethereum addresses carry a checksum. One altered character breaks it, and this page will say so.

It names the formatNETWORK

And where a format is shared — every EVM chain uses the same one — it says that too, because that is the mistake the format itself cannot prevent.

It cannot tell you whose it isTHE LIMIT

A thief's address is valid. A lookalike planted in your transaction history is valid. Only comparing against the source you trust settles that.

Nothing leaves the pagePRIVACY

No request is made, so nothing is logged, stored or seen — here or anywhere else. The script is served from this site and can be read.

Send a test amount anyway

For a new destination and a meaningful sum, a small transfer first costs one fee and settles every question this page cannot. Address mistakes and poisoning covers the rest, and if something already went to the wrong place, start here.
