If something on this site is wrong or out of date, tell us. Point at the page and say what is wrong — we will check it, fix it, and update the checked-on date.

Questions

We read every question. The ones that come up repeatedly become quick answers, which is how most of that section was written in the first place.

Advertising

Sponsored placements appear in the blog, are labelled as sponsored, and never touch our editorial pages. See the editorial policy for what that means in practice before you write to us.

What we cannot do

We cannot recover lost or stolen funds, we cannot contact an exchange on your behalf, and we cannot tell you what to buy. Anyone claiming they can do the first of those, for a fee, is defrauding you — see the red-flag checklist.
