Editorial policy

How this site is funded, how entries are chosen, and what we will never do.

No affiliate links, anywhere

We do not use affiliate links, referral codes or tracking parameters. If you click through to an exchange or a wallet from a guide, nobody pays us for it. That is the whole point: an explanation you can trust is one written by someone who does not get paid more when you sign up.

We name platforms, we do not recommend them

You cannot explain how to buy crypto in a given country without naming the places you can buy it. So we name them, and we describe them factually: which countries they serve, which payment methods they support, what level of verification they ask for, how long they have been operating.

What you will not find here is a ranking, a score, a "best of" list or a button that says "get started". Those are sales devices, not information.

How entries are chosen

A platform is listed if it has been operating for years at meaningful scale and if we can verify what we write about it. Every entry in the directory carries the year it launched, its jurisdiction where known, and the date we last checked it. A listing is not an endorsement, and being absent from the directory is not an accusation.

Sponsored content

Some pages are paid placements. They are labelled Sponsored above the headline, on every card that links to them, and in the page itself. Sponsored content appears only in the blog. It never appears in Basics, in the risk checklist, or on a country page, and it never changes a single word of what those pages say.

Advertisers do not get to review our editorial pages before publication, and they do not get to remove a warning that concerns them.

How we handle risk

Everything on this site that describes a way to earn money also describes how that way fails. We do not publish expected returns, we do not publish price predictions, and we do not tell anyone what to buy. When something is a common vector for fraud, we say so plainly, whoever operates it.

Corrections

Every page shows the date it was last checked. When something changes — a platform leaves a market, a rule changes, a rate moves — we update the page and move that date. If you find something wrong, tell us and we will fix it and say that we did.

What this site is not

It is not financial advice, it is not tax advice, and it is not a substitute for reading the terms of any service you use. We are explaining how things work. What you do with your money is your decision.
