A platform offers 1% a day. Is that possible?
No. Compounded, that is more than thirty-fold in a year, and no activity produces a fixed daily number.
Run the arithmetic once and you never need this answer again. One per cent a day compounds to roughly thirty-seven times your money in a year. If that were achievable, it would be the largest fortune in history within a decade and there would be no need for depositors.
The deeper point is that no real activity produces a fixed return. Lending rates move, trading results vary, staking rewards change with participation. A guaranteed daily number is not a yield, it is a payout schedule — and a payout schedule funded by deposits ends the same way every time.
The early payments are real, which is what makes it work: they are the marketing budget, funded by later deposits. Withdrawals stop when new deposits slow, and the operation is designed for that ending from the start.
Where yield comes from lists the four real sources, and Ponzi in a mini app shows the current packaging.
