The transfer arrived but the token is not showing in my wallet
Usually the wallet is not displaying it, not that it is missing. Check the address in an explorer first.
Paste your address into a block explorer for the right network and look at the token balances. If it is there, the coins arrived and this is a display problem.
Three common causes. The wallet is set to a different network, so it is showing a different ledger entirely. The token needs to be added manually by its contract address, because wallets only show a curated list by default. Or the transfer went to the right address on the wrong network, in which case it is visible on that other chain and usually recoverable by adding it in the wallet.
When adding a token manually, take the contract address from a source you trust rather than from a message — fake versions of well-known tokens exist precisely for this moment.
Reading a block explorer shows how to check, and networks and addresses explains the overlap that causes it.
