Advance fee
A demand to pay something — tax, unlocking, verification — before a withdrawal can proceed. Legitimate platforms deduct fees from what they send. Paying produces another demand, never a withdrawal.

Long-con investment fraudA months-long relationship built by a stranger who eventually introduces a platform showing rising balances, where withdrawals require ever more payments. The platform is a display, not an account.
Fake supportSomeone posing as a wallet, exchange or hardware maker, reaching out after you posted a problem publicly. Real support does not message first and never asks for a seed phrase.
