Confirmation
One block built on top of the block containing your transaction. More confirmations mean a reversal would be more expensive, which is why platforms set a threshold before crediting deposits.

FinalityThe point past which a transaction cannot be reversed. Some networks reach it definitively — Ethereum after about thirteen minutes — while Bitcoin only ever approaches it, growing safer with each block.
BlockA batch of transactions added to the chain at once. Networks differ enormously in how often one arrives — about ten minutes on Bitcoin, under a second on BNB Chain.
